MediaCorp sorry for anthem error

I THANK Mr Pavin Limanont for his letter yesterday, 'O say, can MediaCorp check, please...'. It was a landmark event to have a high-profile Western orchestra performing for the first time in North Korea, and even more astounding to hear the United States anthem played in a hardline communist state. As Mr Limanont pointed out, the first few notes shown in the brief video clip were not the opening bars of the 'Star-Spangled Banner'. It was a mistake that should not have happened and we apologise unreservedly.
