I REFER to Ms Michelle Lim Siew Fong's letter, 'No tour gift but ad says otherwise' (Feb 28).
When Ms Lim signed up for her tour package at our sales office last Tuesday, the complimentary turbo convection oven had just run out of stock due to overwhelming response to our promotion the preceding weekend. As we were expecting new stock to arrive shortly, we continued to carry the turbo convection oven in our advertisements on Wednesday and after. However, we regret our tour consultant who attended to Ms Lim was not aware and hence did not inform her of this.
We will offer a substitute gift of similar value to all customers affected by this lapse and contact Ms Lim personally to address this. We appreciate hearing from our valued customers as customer interest is our topmost priority.
We thank Ms Lim and all our customers for their continued support and look forward to welcoming them onboard their upcoming tours with us.
