I have just been invited to join this scheme which covers reservists for potential accidents during their NS training. The scheme is good for us and our families, but the premiums should be borne by the State. I am 43 years old and am still being called up for active Reservist duty. First it was with the army, and now, with the Singapore Civil Defence Force. It would be a nice gesture if the Government could bear the premiums.
