WE REFER to the letter, 'DBS & POSB Merger: Why still no shared system?' by Mr Lawrence Toh Liew Choon (Feb 16).
Mr Toh asked about our computer systems at DBS and POSB branches. The systems used at all branches were fully integrated in 2000. Mr Toh's banking requests can be processed at any of our DBS or POSB branches islandwide.
We have since apologised to Mr Toh for the confusion and inconvenience caused.
