WHO has the right of way on the pedestrian pathway: the cyclist or the pedestrian? Recently, I was almost knocked down by a cyclist who whizzed past me as if I didn't exist. The trouble with cyclists is that they expect pedestrians to give way.
Cyclists also park indiscriminately at bus interchanges, malls and MRT stations inconveniencing, and even endangering others. Bicycles may be a cheap, clean and useful mode of transport. But until the authorities plan better, cyclists are a hazard in public areas and pedestrian walkways.
