CABBY TOOK TROUBLE TO RETURN CARD
ON JAN2, I booked a taxi (SHA7755J) to take me from Casafina in Bedok to Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 7.15am.
Later, after going through the airport's immigration and check-in procedures, I received a call from taxi driver Wai Kwok Hong, who told me I had left my immigration access card in his cab.
I asked him to return the access card to my office at Suntec City, and offered to pay him the taxi fare from the airport to Suntec City, but he politely declined payment.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr Wai for going the extra mile.

LATE NIGHT VISIT BY A GOOD SAMARITAN
RECENTLY, I lost my wallet at Suntec City Mall, but got it back unexpectedly the same night - thanks to a good Samaritan.
Kudos to Marcus, car owner of SCM6772L, who found my wallet and took the trouble to locate my house at 12.30am (after checking my identity card in the wallet) in order to return the lost item to me.
His good deed has saved me the trouble of having to replace my IC and student bus pass contained in the wallet.
His honesty is something to be proud of.

KUDOS TO HONEST BAKERY STAFF
LAST month, I received a call from a Bengawan Solo employee at its Compass Point branch, checking to see if I was the owner of a wallet which a member of its staff had found.
It was then that I realised that my wallet had been lost for almost 24 hours!
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the outlet's staff: Dorothy, Pauline, Agnes, Aunty Lim and Kim Choon. I got my wallet back, with all cash and items intact. Thank you so much.

PHONE FOUND WITH BUS DRIVER'S HELP
I WISH to commend SBS bus captain Teo Kim Heng of service 79 for finding and returning my cellphone, which I had carelessly left behind on its seat recently before alighting.
I discovered the loss later in the afternoon, but less than two hours later, I had my cellphone back from the customer service counter at the Jurong East bus interchange.
I am grateful to all those involved in recovering my cellphone, and in particular, to Mr Teo for his help and honesty.

A PLEASANT RIDE WITH FRIENDLY CABBY
I WISH to commend the driver of taxi SHC298Y, which we boarded at Funan Centre last Tuesday at 8.20pm, going towards Chai Chee and Bedok North.
The driver was very professional and polite, asking us which our preferred route was.
He also thanked us for taking his taxi, made pleasant conversation and was smiling throughout the trip.
I hope Comfort extends my compliments to the driver, whose name I unfortunately did not manage to get.
