WE TOOK advantage of SingPost's special greeting card postage rate of 55 cents (instead of the usual $1.10) for the festive season and sent 450 cards to the United States on Dec5.
We thought this was a big saving of $247.50. But as of last Thursday, none of the intended recipients had got the cards.
When I called SingPost, I was advised to send all my future mail registered, at $2.20 more per piece, so it could be tracked.
