PAIR TO THE RESCUE AFTER SHE FAINTED

I WISH to thank the kind man (whose name I did not get because I was unconscious) and Ms Sindy for helping me at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange on the late morning of Dec 13.

I was deeply touched and grateful, especially to Ms Sindy who stayed with me until I regained consciousness and later took me home in her car.

CABBIES FOUND LOST CELLPHONE

ON THE early morning of Dec 23, I took a taxi home. When I woke in the morning, I realised my cellphone was missing, but I could not remember which taxi I had taken.

However, on Christmas evening, I received a call from Comfort taxi driver Albert Kow Jong Hoon (SH 9931 L) who said another Comfort cabby, Mr Foo (SHA 5956 J), had taken me home and found my cellphone in his taxi. I arranged to meet Mr Kow in Pasir Ris and, to my surprise, he drove all the way from East Coast to return my phone.

WALLET RETURNED AT MRT STATION

I LEFT my wallet on the platform of Potong Pasir MRT station. A kind soul returned my wallet, its contents intact, to station control. I would also like to thank the SBS Transit officer at Serangoon station, Mr Selva Kumar, as well as staff at Potong Pasir station.

ELDERLY WOMAN AIDED ON CABLE CAR

ON THE evening of Dec 21, my mother, siblings and I drove to Mount Faber to view the tallest lit Christmas tree. Seeing the difficulty my 81-year-old mother had boarding the cable car, staff tending it helped immediately by slowing it down. They helped us the same way on the return journey.
