PRINT EDITION LETTERS
SINGAPORE is blessed... we have been spared from disasters like cyclones, earthquakes and landslides that have struck our neighbours.
I REFER to Sunday's letter, 'Kids can be 'enriched' at home too' and the article the mother referred to, 'Oh boy, no break for tots, too?'.
Another reason for poor patronage of Tekka Market by old customers is the entrance to the carpark.
|
I REFER to the reply, 'NEA working to improve ventilation in hawker centre' (June 2). I am heartened to learn that the National Environment Agency (NEA) is taking steps to improve the poor air quality in that section of the upgraded wet market in Chinatown Complex.
THE other day, I noticed someone in a wheelchair at the bus stop outside CHIJ St Theresa's Convent waiting for service 123. It was drizzling. He was helpless trying to cover his head with a cloth. The scene was pathetic.
I REFER to Mr Quah Kai Sheng's letter on Monday, 'Moving S'pore Pools outlets won't do'.
I WOULD like to give feedback on the new soccer betting slip.
I REFER to Mr Ang Hak Heng's letter last Friday, 'NDP on floating platform: Is it safe?'
I REFER to Ms Arachelvi Duraiswamy's letter on Tuesday, 'Retained ez-link card had not expired after all'.
