PRINT EDITION LETTERS
I REFER to the Saturday Special report, 'Rodeo realtors' (April 19).
I ENJOYED the Saturday Special package of features on the real estate sales industry (April 19).
I REFER to the article, 'New round of competition as mobile numbers go portable' (April 17). While I applaud the move by the Infocomm Development Authority to enforce full number portability service on our telcos to ensure competitive pricing, I was shocked and disappointed to realise this will affect many consumers who use the number retention service.

I CONGRATULATE The Straits Times on last Friday's articles, 'Project Work grading method is fair: MOE' and 'Five years on, grading still draws debate'.
I WISH to correct some inaccurate information in the article, 'When should junior have his first dental visit?' (April 23). The American Academy of Paediatric Dentistry recommends the child's first dental visit be as soon as the first tooth erupts and no later than 12 months of age.
THIS is in reply to Mr Khoo Lih-Han's comment last Saturday, and Mr Chiang Ging Seng's yesterday, on the Olympic Games torch not stopping over in Singapore.
THE recent reduction in sentence on talented footballer Noh Alam Shah to a seven-month ban from playing in Singapore deserves deeper reflection.
'Isn't it funny that the ban is being reduced just as Singapore's World Cup qualifying matches are looming?'
I WAS in China recently and read with amusement about the recent ruling by the China Securities Regulatory Commission that shareholders of moratorium shares can sell their shares only via the block trading system should these shares to be sold exceed 1 per cent of the issuer's total issued shares (in any one-month period) after the moratorium is lifted. In addition, controlling shareholders cannot sell their shares if the date the moratorium is lifted falls within 30 days before the listed company's half-yearly and annual results are announced.

ONLINE LETTERS
THE nomination period for the Excellent Service Award (EXSA) 2008 has just closed. By now, many organisations would have submitted their nominations to Spring Singapore for selection.
I WONDER how many Singapore parents actually know what their children are watching on television these days. Do they know what is DWUW? Have they heard their children use the phrase?
I AM perturbed by Mr Ken Lee Jun-Jie's views and recommendations in his online letter on Tuesday, 'MDA high-handed in its fine on Ch5 for gay episode'.

WE REFER to the online letter on Saturday, 'McProblem - delivery riders', by Mr Chue Choon Wai.
WE BOOKED JetStar tickets to Zhuhai via a tour agency and it cost us $298 per person including two nights' stay. We discovered that the name of one of our friends, a Singaporean PR, given to the tour agency was different from her name in her passport.
