PRINT EDITION LETTERS
I REFER to Tuesday's report, '60% of workers will get full subsidy', on means testing in public hospitals.
I HAVE been a patient of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) for the past six years. The dialysis sessions are long and difficult, and can last for as long as five hours each. It would be good if the organisation's new management obtained feedback from patients before implementing new rules.
IT WAS gratifying to learn lately that hospitals are trying to cut waiting time. But a recent experience I had revealed a curious reason for an unnecessary delay.
THERE is an unseemly rush to woo residents of Farrer Court who will be enjoying a windfall now that the estate has successfully gone en bloc.
I REFER to Tuesday's letter, 'Four hours was swift enough', by Mr Calvin Ho. Mr Ho has mistaken the key thrust of my query.
IN HIS letter, 'Six-year integrated programme: Do kids lose out on O levels?' (Feb 26), Mr Kaliannan Tamilselvam asked whether students in the integrated programme (IP) are disadvantaged when they apply for overseas university courses because they do not sit for the O levels.
I REFER to the reports, 'Disabled to get financial security with new scheme' (Feb 23), and 'New trust fund: 1,000 families likely to sign up' (Feb 25).
I REFER to the letter, 'Why bar drivers from using public carpark?', by Ms Mariana Jumari on Monday.
Don't wait, ban it now.
ONLINE LETTERS

SINGAPORE prides itself on its high level of English proficiency and the Government constantly expounds on its importance in a world of global opportunities and competition for investments.
I AM 17 and have always aspired to be a model. So I responded to an advertisement by a modelling agency looking for students.
I BOUGHT a Sony Ericsson mobile phone from an M1 shop a few weeks back. However, the phone started to show defects within the next few days.
I BOUGHT a ticket from JetstarAsia on Nov 7 last year to fly from Singapore to Phuket on March 31. Last Friday, I went to the Internet to check my flight details but could not do so.
MY 16-YEAR-OLD son recently came back from a school trip to Japan on a Singapore Airlines flight which landed at Changi Airport Terminal 2.
I HAVE been receiving several unsolicited SMSes from chatlines that I do not participate in.
WE REFER to Friday's online letter, 'Mystery over investment account opened through Aviva", by Mdm Normah Mohamed Nor. Please be assured that Aviva views integrity issues very seriously. This is one of our core values in our relentless efforts to maintain quality and the highest standard of service to our customers.
