PRINT EDITION LETTERS
I WAS encouraged when I read the Saturday Special Report, 'Aspects of love' (ST, Feb 9).
I WAS a member of the women's artistic gymnastics team that won the historic Team Gold at the 2005 SEA Games in Manila and I would like to help Ms Chia Tian Gei, who wrote the letter, 'Children's gym class cancelled - Continuity needed in keep-fit programmes' (ST, Feb 9).
RECENTLY, Safra members received a letter announcing that the Energy One gym at Safra Town Club in Carpenter Street will stop operations completely from March31.

A RESIDENT of a five-room HDB flat pays $73.50 a month in service & conservancy charges and another $90 in parking charge.
ON THE first day of the last Chinese New Year, it was an unpleasant time for staff of a voluntary welfare organisation nursing home where I am the resident doctor.
I REFER to the report, 'New Year thief breaks windscreens of 22 cars' (ST, Feb 9).
I REFER to the letter by Mr Eric Tham Kwok Kwong, 'Look into redesigning in-vehicle unit' (ST, Feb 11).
I APPRECIATE the effort by the Singapore Police Force to enhance efficiency and service from the heart. Recently, I lost my wallet at a hawker centre and lodged a report at Bedok Police Station. After two days, I received a call from its administrative office that my wallet had been retrieved. The officer set a date and time to my convenience.

I READ with interest lately the negativity created by movie critics, both amateurs and professionals, about the local movie production Ah Long Pte Ltd.
I REFER to the article, 'Packed like sushi in a Tokyo train' (The Sunday Times, Feb 3).
I READ with interest Dr Andy Ho's article, 'Birth of hope v unknown terror' (ST, 9 Feb), in which he discussed the role of the mitochondria in the cytoplasm of an egg.
THE first thought that struck me after our family day out at Sentosa is that 'Will Sentosa be ready to cater for the crowd during peak holiday periods when Resorts World is up in 2010?'
I HAPPENED to see a promotional leaflet in Caltex station in Tanjong Katong Road two weeks ago with this message:
