PRINT EDITION LETTERS
I REFER to the letter, 'Complaints choir penalised undeservedly' by Ms Lau Ai Lin (ST, Feb 1).
MY DAUGHTER, now seven, has been in a gymnastics class at Bishan Sports Hall since she was four. Now in Primary 1, she cannot attend her existing class on a weekday afternoon. The Singapore Sports Council (SSC) was aware of this and indicated the possibility of a morning class for her and other children. However, after a month of calling and waiting, I was told the class has been cancelled due to insufficient participants.
ON FEB 1, I left my office in Jakarta at around 3pm to catch the 8.15pm Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore. However, I was caught in a terrible flood and reached the airport at around 3am on Saturday morning - exactly 12 hours later.
MR SEAH Leong Khai worried that the impending 'Hike in MediShield premiums (will be) too drastic' (ST, Feb 5). He gathered that the hike would be 'an average of $120 a year', but he was mistaken.
I AM 19, an age at which hearing of my peers heading out to the clubs to party the night away is not uncommon.
CURRENT iPhone sales are coupled with limitations on network providers in many countries, and the iPhone is not freely available legally to all. Apple and Singapore network providers have yet to reach an agreement to market the iPhone to users in Singapore.
I REFER to Ms Peggy Chew's letter ('One way to ease jam at MRT station'; ST, Feb 4) suggesting all three escalators towards Cecil Street be set to upriding mode during morning peak hours to ease flow at Tanjong Pagar MRT station.
I REFER to the report, 'Longer you stay on busy roads, the more you pay' by Mr Christopher Tan (ST, Feb 7).

I REFER to the letter, 'Penalise those who break en-bloc contracts' (ST, Feb 5).
MISS Yvonne Lam, '19-year-old misled into signing agreement for motorcycle purchase' (Online forum, Feb 6), can take comfort in the fact that her sister is below the age of simple majority.
I REFER to the letter, 'Take holistic approach in easing traffic jams' by Mr Chris Yong (ST, Feb 6).
ACCORDING to Justice Woo Bih Li, Odex had no right to sue anime downloaders under Singapore's Copyright Act (ST, Jan 29) nor obtain the names of the alleged downloaders' (ST, Jan 30).
WHILE on the bus the other day, I was watching TVMobile when a television commercial came on with teenagers talking about saving the Earth.
I REFER to the letter, 'Singapore Flyer ticket prices far too expensive for retirees, children' (Online forum, Feb 4).
I REFER to Mr Benjamin Leong Yarn Kwong's letter, 'MRT train frequency - public interest should come first' (Online forum, Feb 1).
