Flight changes shorten holiday period
I BOOKED a flight on AirAsia to Bali some months back during one of the airline's promotions, and I have received three text messages on changes to my flight schedule.

My morning flight was changed to an evening one, and my return flight was brought forward to 7am. So my planned three-day holiday effectively was shortened to just one day.

I have called AirAsia's hotline for several weeks, and either could not get through, or when the call was answered, I was asked to leave behind my name and number and to expect a call back soon.

But despite leaving my contact details behind numerous times, no one has called back. I also sent an e-mail message, but have yet to receive any response.

Is this the type of service to be expected from a budget carrier? Or does a flight booked on a promotional fare not deserve better service?
