I WISH to share my experience with Star Cruise Aquarius. I went on a one-night Cruise To Nowhere last Thursday and was disappointed with the experience.
The staff were foreigners who could not speak proper English. I could not understand their replies to any query I had.
The food in the Indian restaurant was too salty. We then went to the International Buffet and the staff wanted to charge us $10 per head as we ate somewhere else. After a lengthy argument with her that the food was awful, she still insisted on charging us. However, when we checked out, it was not reflected on the bill. Furthermore, many parts of the ship had a pungent odour.
I am a fan of the Genting Group which owns Star Cruises and feel they have done a wonderful job with Genting Highlands. Thus, I am very disappointed over the management of Star Cruises. I understand the need to cut costs by hiring foreign labour but please hire ones who are able to communicate effectively in English.
I don't think that this is too much to ask for.
