I REFER to Wednesday's letter on premium mobile content by Ms Tan Boon Siew, 'Upset over Premium Download charges'. We have since contacted Ms Tan and resolved the matter with her.
We would like to take this opportunity to share that when Ms Tan first called our customer care hotline to enquire about her premium download charges, our consultant has explained to her how the premium mobile content provider's charges were derived, and put her in touch directly with Ericsson Telecommunication. Ericsson Telecommunications manages customer queries on behalf of the content provider, Pitch. Payment for the disputed content charges have not been collected during the course of the investigation.
Following Ms Tan's latest feedback to us, we conducted a check on her behalf with Ericsson Telecommunication, which verified that the content service was activated on Jan 4, and deactivated two months later at her request.
