Action taken: SMRT acts on service feedback
I REFER to Mr David Buay Kwang Ming's online letter, 'Reckless bus driver at Sembawang Park' (March 13). SMRT places priority on the safety of our passengers. Our service leaders are trained on the importance of ensuring a safe journey for commuters at all times.

The service leader was reminded about the importance of ensuring passengers' safety and meeting customer service standards. We have contacted Mr Buay to convey our apologies and the disciplinary actions taken against the driver. We thank Mr Buay for bringing the matter to our attention.
