Where's the rebate, ABN?
MY FRIENDS and I paid for a tour at the September 2007 Natas fair by using two ABN Amro credit cards as the bank had a 5 per cent rebate promotion then. I was shocked when my October statement showed no rebate was given.

I called ABN's customer service and an officer who attended to me was unable to answer my query and promised to call me back but did not. When there was still no response two months later, I went down to the head office in Raffles Quay. A manager who attended to me assured me that I would be receiving my rebate by the end of January.

However, I found that no action had been taken when I received my February statement. A customer service officer called me two days later and said that I needed to spend at least $6,000 to be entitled to this promotion. A woman by the name of Salina from the Complaints Department also called me several times but could not resolve the matter. Can ABN explain?
