IT MUST have pleased many fans to find out that StarHub would be showing the semi-final matches of the Yonex All England Badminton Tournament 'live' on Saturday evening on Channel 22. Alas, halfway through the men's semi-final match, the 'live' telecast was interrupted. A note at the bottom of the screen informed us that a delayed telecast will resume at 1am that evening.
Why does StarHub even bother to show the 'live' coverage at all when they had intended to cut short the telecast? What followed the interruption was the 'live' coverage of an English Premier League soccer match, although there is already a dedicated Football Channel.
