I REFER to the Land Transport Authority's new taxi stand scheme. What I want to know is how do we hail a taxi from a hotel which does not have a driveway? Or, for that matter, request the cabbie to drop us off at the hotel.
Does the LTA expect travellers from the airport to drag their luggage from a taxi stand 100m to 200m away to the hotel and vice versa in the sun or heavy rain?
