Not allowed to join badminton CCA because he was not good enough in the sport
I REFER to Ms Lee Shu Shan's letter 'Don't run schools like a business' (March 3). Allow me to share my experience. When my elder son was in Primary Three, he was asked to 'choose' his CCA. He loves Robotics and Computing but, unfortunately, both clubs were full.

Because he did not manage to get into his chosen CCAs, he tried badminton, a sport which he loves. But he was not selected because he was told he was not good enough. We learnt a lesson. So, we got a personal coach for our second boy since the end of his Primary Two and, guess what? He got selected.

At the beginning of last year, the school decided to terminate badminton as an CCA as it did not win enough awards and hence no glory to the school. This can't be right.
