WE REFER to Ms Winnie Teo Li-lian's online letter, 'Why do recycling trucks come by less often now?' on Saturday. SembWaste would like to thank Ms Teo for her feedback as well as her efforts to segregate recyclable materials from the usual household waste.
As a company strongly encouraging Singaporeans to recycle for many years, SembWaste has been providing collection of recyclable materials on a fortnightly basis. The frequency has not changed, although exact time of collection on the scheduled day may vary. We have looked into Ms Teo's feedback, and would like to thank the writer for her confirmation by telephone that the contents of her recycling bin were indeed collected on Wednesday, March 5.
