WHEN I received my POSB Everyday Card statement last September, I got a rude shock. I was billed by Planet Fitness Co Pte Ltd and it was an instalment plan. I have neither made any transaction with Planet Fitness Co Pte Ltd nor engaged in any agreement with Planet Fitness. Since then, I have been billed by Planet Fitness Co Pte Ltd under my credit card.
I made several attempts to clarify the matter with Planet Fitness. Each time, I was advised differently by their staff. Finally, I was asked to seek assistance from DBS, which I did. Unfortunately, Planet Fitness reverted to DBS that their member insisted that it is a genuine transaction and hence refused my claims. At any point in time, I have never been a member of Planet Fitness. In addition, Planet Fitness has never once contacted me for further investigation. I wonder who this 'member' Planet Fitness is referring to. This matter has been causing me distress since September last year.
