Youth Olympic Games dates reported wrongly

I WAS baffled that Channelnewsasia.com reported that the Youth Olympics in Singapore would be scheduled from Aug 14-16, 2010. (http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/330241/1/.html).
Unable to believe that the YOG will run only for three days, I made a search on the Internet and found that most newspapers throughout the world reported the same dates, citing Channelnewsasia.com as their source.
I finally learned from Wikipedia that the 2010 YOG would be held in Singapore from Aug 14-26.
