I called the SingTel Mobile Centre on 16 Feb at 8.16am and spoke to a Miss Mariam. I had been wrongly billed $2 for European Soccer on 1 Jan. I immediately cancelled this service.
This was confirmed by the operator and the $2 was subsequently offset from the next month's bill.
But I was surprised that in this month's bill, I had again been charged $2 for European Soccer' on 4 Feb, even though this service had been terminated on 21 Jan.
How can SingTel allow the third party billing to go through when the service was confirmed to have ceased on 21 Jan, but the transaction was made on 4 Feb?
Who reactivitated and authorised this service without my acknowledgement? Could this have happened to other customerss who did not check their bill?
That is the reason I do not pay bills using Giro.
