I ordered a takeaway birthday package for my son from the Tampines East outlet.

I picked up the food at the arranged time. Only on reaching home did I realise that the cake was not there. If I had to check every item of food, I might as well have the party at its premises.

The cake was delivered about 30 minutes later - without candles and knife - forcing us to go out again for them.

We ordered the takeaway party with the impression that it would be hassle-free but it turned out otherwise.

To top it all, the cake had the words 'Best Wishes' instead of 'Happy Birthday' on it.
