mio TV channel charges valid
I REFER to the letter, 'Some queries on SingTel billing' by Mr Eric Tan Teck Heng (Online Forum, Dec 27).

We have contacted Mr Tan and apologised to him for the inconvenience caused. We have also explained to him the telephone service charges.

Our billing records show that the mio TV channel charges are valid. Subscription charges for any mio TV channel commence from the date of purchase or starting date of the service.

Our bills reflect the charges and period of the subscription. The time of purchase for video-on-demand (VOD) is also clearly indicated in the bill. Customers can verify this via their television set for all VOD purchases in real-time, as well as their purchase history for the past two months.

The self-order portal, available in English and Chinese, is designed to ensure that the necessary confirmation is obtained before content can be successfully purchased.

mio TV customers can also set a personal identification number to prevent unauthorised subscription of channels or purchase of VODs.

Our technical department is following up with Mr Tan to ensure that he has an enjoyable mio TV experience. We thank Mr Tan for his feedback and support.
