I caught the show on television as I was wary of the strong crowd turnout which numbered 150,000 unofficially.

The change of venue from the National Stadium to the Esplanade on a floating platform must have caused some worry to the organisers.

However, the mixture of air, sea and land elements allowed organisers to put up a nostalgic show of songs, dance and drama on top of the official parade.

Dance items from various associations combined to make this year the best NDP show so far.

Let us continue to stick together through thick and thin. Count on me Singapore!
