SINGTEL has a promotion on Ladies Night at Powerhouse whereby you just need to flash the SingTel logo on your mobile phone to gain free entry to the premises before 11pm.
I was at the Powerhouse at 10.50pm when I was denied entry by the bouncer.
The reason? The 'SingTel van' wasn't there yet and that I needed to wait for it to be there first before the promotion could begin.
The bouncer also told me that the 'SingTel van' did not arrive regularly.
I came to know about this promotion only when I received an SMS from SingTel saying I just needed to flash the SingTel logo on my mobile phone to gain free entry.
It did not state anything else.
If there was such a policy for the promotion to work, why didn't SingTel state it in the first place?
