Boorish behaviour from motorist driving car with diplomatic corps number plate
I WITNESSED this scene at the carpark of Plaza Singapura on the afternoon of Aug 2 at 5.25pm.

After parking the car, my husband and I were walking towards the entrance of the mall when we were jolted by an extremely loud honking.

It came from a car that was behind two cars that had stopped.

The first car had stopped to pick up an elderly person with a baby in her arms. She got into the car very quickly and was about to move off, yet the same car kept honking.

Then, to my astonishment, the driver, a foreigner, got out of the car and bellowed, 'Move it! Move it!', while gesticulating wildly.

He was very aggressive and showed his impatience.

The car in front of him also had to slow down to park and while he was reversing into the lot, the impatient driver simply accelerated off.

I caught the number of the white car, probably a Toyota Camry, and it was S XXXX CD.

Should anyone, let alone one from the diplomatic corp, behave so boorishly?

I immediately contacted the Traffic Police who said no crime had been committed and there was nothing they could do about it.
