Fast-food delivery men too fast on the roads
LATELY, I noticed that there are more fast-food delivery workers on the road.

I am concerned for their safety by the way they move around.

Many of them can be seen riding about at great speed and without the proper protection gear.

Most of them wear slippers or slip on sandals. I can hardly spot one who wears proper shoes.

In addition, they zip in and out of traffic carelessly without checking for blind spots. On a few occasions, they were almost hit by other vehicles.

I hope that the fast-food companies will seriously look into the welfare and safety of their staff.

It is not wise to promise fast delivery at the expense of precious lives. Safety should always come first.
