Closing in the UK loop

Wong Lilin manages to get her Loopz exercise bands used among the British royal family and Royal Ballet dancers.

WHEN it rains, it really does pour. What's a small business got to do to meet the growing demands (a good thing) and not break the bank (not such a good thing!)? Creative thinking it appears, is a really important aspect of an entrepreneur. That, along with a clear understanding of where you want to head and what you can do to get there one step at a time.

Before I elaborate, here's an update of the Loopz business so far - I am very proud to announce that there are Loopz exercise bands being used in the Royal household of Prince Andrew and his family at Windsor Castle. As I am proud to add that certain members of the Royal Ballet in London are using Loopz!

We are in the process of upgrading our website to streamline our brand and services. Locally, Loopz is resonating in the market. We are preparing to do more marketing (cheap, free... along those lines!) and getting our name out there in a stronger manner.

Right now as the business gains form, we are getting more inquiries from corporations, agencies and individuals seeking our assistance to integrate wellness easily into their lives. The key premise with our existence is to help you get in shape for life.

We do that by first addressing the universal barriers - motivation, time and costs. We make it super easy for you to exercise effectively and regularly. Each Loopz exercise takes less than two minutes to complete and can be done where your butt or feet are planted. And the purchase of one Loopz is equal to the purchase of six resistance bands, at only a fraction of the cost. Loopz exercise band is more durable and resilient than many market competitors.

Then we help you get in shape by delivering the teaching to you - via our website and through trainers. We've partnered with several centres, well-trained professionals who use Loopz in their various training to get you in shape. I am as you read this, looking for trainers who can work with me. Please email us at loopz@wureka.com if you are interested!

I am open to training people as long as there is a genuine interest on their part to spread wellness to all. So even if you are not a trainer but you are interested in work involving the betterment of a body, just send us an email and let's see what happens!

So back to the entrepreneurial journey of coping with growing demands on a tight, in this instance, single-handed ship. There are a few boxes to tick before we tip over to being a business that can hire more hands. So the challenge is to balance the big picture with lean operations.

This requires really knowing your business - what you are, where you are - and being super creative about growing it organically. Being creative really is an economical application! I can't afford to be otherwise!

But this is where I am actually having the most fun: Coming up with ways to grow, maintain a pace I can manage but not fall behind, and to enjoy rather than being swallowed by the challenges that come my way!
