ECP rush hour traffic jam caused by three-vehicle pile-up

MOTORISTS heading back home on the East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Monday evening found themselves stuck in a traffic jam, after a three-vehicle collision between two lorries and a Malaysian-registered MPV blocked three lanes of the expressway.

The collision happened at about 4.30 pm on the ECP towards Changi Airport before Bedok South Road exit.

The accident caused congestion to build up, starting from the Tanjong Katong Road exit.

A lorry driver, a Chinese man in his 40s, was taken to Changi General Hospital.
