Pedestrian, motorcyclist killed in two seperate road accidents
THREE pedestrians were struck by a van on Friday.

One of them died some hours later.

The 47-year-old Chinese man died at around 1am on Saturday from head injuries after the accident involving the van in Geylang Lorong 25A at around 7.25pm.

The other two pedestrians walked away with slight injuries.

The van, driven by a man in his late 60s, was travelling on Geylang road towards Sims Avenue at the time. He is helping police with investigations.

Another fatal accident happened at around 8.25am on Saturday.

Motorcyclist Mohammed Faizal, 23, was riding on the PIE at the Stevens Road exit towards Changi Airport when his bike skidded.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His pillion rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
