WASHINGTON - A 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia on Sunday, the US Geological Survey reported.
The earthquake, which struck at 1446GMT, was 113 miles (182 kilometres) southwest of Padang, Sumatra, in Indonesia, the USGS said.
It was centred at a shallow depth of 7.5miles (12 km).
