ASEAN university students are overwhelmingly gunning for one place to work and play - Singapore. A survey of university students across the region last year finds the smallest South-east Asian country coming out the biggest winner. More than half of the 2,170 undergraduates polled, or 54.3 per cent, said they would 'most like to work' in Singapore among the 10 Asean nations.

LET me congratulate Forum for discussing the important issue of legalising organ sales in Singapore. I note that there are opposing views on the matter, which reflects that the medical profession is independent in our thinking on this important issue.

Mas Selamat: Here's how he escaped
Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng unveiled further details to the daring escape of JI fugitive Mas Selamat Kastari in Parliament on Monday when he released the Executive Summary of the Committee of Inquiry's report. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong gave his take on Government accountability over the issue. We bring you both speeches in full.

The COI's recommendations
The Government has accepted a slew of recommendations put forth by the Committee of Inquiry (COI). Among them - centralising the command and control of the Whitley Road detention centre under the Internal Security Department and building a new detention facility in Changi Prison for political detainees.
