TEARY-EYED family members and friends of 18-year-old Jeevitha Panippan comforted each other at a short funeral service which was held at Mandai Crematorium yesterday.
Miss Panippan's body had been found on Tuesday morning sprawled behind an electrical substation next to Block 154, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 - not far from Block 157, where she lived with her father.
There were slash wounds on her neck and chest.
