Bodybuilders in a jam over drugs

SOUTH-EAST Asia Games bronze medal-winner and last year's Mr Singapore, Sasi Zura Raush, is among four bodybuilders in trouble over illegal drugs.

They competed in the National Bodybuilding Championships last month and tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Also in a jam are two other bodybuilders who flouted the rules by skipping urine tests at the April 20 event.

This is believed to be the biggest doping scandal to hit Singapore sport.

Those accused can appeal, but if found guilty, first-time offenders face two-year worldwide bans.
