LONDON - A HOME video of the ringleader of London's suicide bombers saying goodbye to his baby daughter was shown to a British court at the trial of three men accused of helping him plot the attacks.

The footage, shot while Mohammed Sidique Khan was sitting on a bed at his wife's family home, shows him cradling his daughter, Maryam, kissing her on the head and telling her to 'learn to fight'.

'My little sweetheart, I love you lots and lots... Remember me in your duas (prayers). I will certainly remember you, and, inshallah (God willing) things will work out for the best. Look after your mother. She needs looking after.'

Khan was one of the four British suicide bombers who killed 52 people in attacks on London's transport network in 2005.

The video was made in November 2004, before he went to Pakistan with fellow bombers Shehzad Tanweer, Kingston Crown Court heard.

Another video was shown to the jury at the trial of the three men suspected of helping the bombers - Waheed Ali, 24, Mohammed Shakil, 31, and Sadeer Saleem, 27, from Leeds. All deny the charges of conspiracy and say that, although they knew the bombers, their friendship was innocent.

In the second video, made the month before the attacks, Khan was seen taking his daughter to see her 'uncles', Tanweer, Ali and another bomber Hasib Hussain.

Two months after the attacks had occurred, a video statement made beforehand by Khan was discovered in which he defends the impending suicide strikes, declaring himself 'a soldier' fighting a war against Western governments and their supporters in the general population, the BBC reported.
