Vandalism of buses blamed on lax enforcement
SBS Transit claims that teenagers vandalise an average of 20 buses daily and that it spends a million dollars a year to repair the damage to its buses.

I am not the least surprised at the figures because there is non-existent enforcement on public buses.

People eat and drink merrily in buses and trains, without any sign of enforcement whatsoever from the operators.

Or are they expecting the public to be their vigilante to prevent vandalism?

If teenagers know they can get away with graffiti and destructive behaviour, what does SBS Transit expect then?
