Labrador retrievers Flo and Lucky getting their paws imprinted in plaster at a ceremony in honour of their services yesterday. The two dogs are ending a six-month assignment in Malaysia after helping the police net 1.6 million pirated movie discs.
The world's first dogs trained to identify optical discs by the scent of their chemicals, they were loaned to the Malaysian government in March by the Motion Picture Association, a US-based watchdog.
They will leave on Thursday for New York, where they will take part in shows and also help in raids on movie pirates.
