TOMORROW, local illusionist J C Sum will zip to the top of a 50-storey skyscraper in a matter of seconds: One moment, he will be at street level, and the next, he will be 210m up.
To find out where this trick will happen and see it take place, readers will have to take part in a draw organised by The Straits Times, in which a Volkswagen Jetta is the grand prize.
Even if one does not win the car, Mr Sum promises an unforgettable show.
He has personally billed it as 'the biggest such feat attempted in the region'.
His stunt and the draw are part of The Straits Times' celebrations of its 162nd anniversary and a way of thanking readers for their support.
Since Aug 9, readers have scoured its pages for the 'Part of My Life' advertisements, each of which carries a one letter tile.
Readers need to find all nine letters - the last of which appears today - and piece them together to form a password.
They are then required to key in the password at www.stomp.com.sg, or SMS it to 79777.
If the password is correct, the location of Mr Sum's stunt will be revealed.
Eligible entrants can show up there at 4pm tomorrow to submit their completed entry coupons, which were published in The Straits Times on Aug 9 and 11, and again today and tomorrow.
Before the draw for the car prize at 6.30pm, readers will be able to enjoy a carnival, where Mr Sum will take the stage as the main event.
