Leaders United, who have a superior goal difference, travel to Wigan, while Chelsea host Bolton.
With both games kicking off at the same time, there is a good chance that the championship will not be decided until the final few seconds. That means a nervous time in store for all concerned.
'We all have emotions,' said United manager Alex Ferguson, who is in the verge of winning his 10th Premier League title. 'Sometimes, you get a little nervous. Sometimes, you get over-confident. That is the nature of the game.'
He hopes to have striker Wayne Rooney on the bench after missing two games with a hip injury. Nemanja Vidic has recovered from a concussion, and returns to the starting line-up.
Chelsea have the momentum. They have won 15 games and drawn five, while United have won 14, drawn three and lost three.
But United, crucially, have a goal difference of +56 compared with Chelsea's +39.
Chelsea coach Avram Grant said: 'When we beat Derby 6-0, I said to one of the players that I didn't like this game, because I wanted to score more goals.
'He asked: 'Why do we need to score more?'
'I said: 'Maybe, at the end of the season, we will need it'. Last week, he came to me and said: 'How did you know?''
United and Chelsea will meet in the Champions League final in Moscow on May 21.
