Mathew Pereira, Sports Editor I support: Manchester United for as long as I can remember (Mum was a United fan...what can I say?).
Because: They attack like they are demon-possessed and make outrageous comebacks.
EPL 2008: Ronaldo has been super and the Rooney and Tevez show, deadly. If United don't take the title, I'll give up football and take up line dancing. United and Chelsea to win their games 2-0.
Wilfred Yeo, Deputy Sports Editor
I support: Arsenal.
Because: Tottenham Hotspur, my boyhood team, never looked like winning anything even as I neared my second childhood. There's no better club to cheer for than the worst enemy of the one you used to support (so long as your worst enemy doesn't support them too). Also, Arsenal happen to be rather potent, attractive and ambitious.
EPL 2008: Man United have been staggering, though they have staggered of late, but I expect they'll be swaggering after tonight. Why? Because the bookies say so: they expect United to win by two goals...and bookies exist to win your money, not give you theirs.

I support: Liverpool
Because: They were winning everything in the 1980s and I was an impressionable young boy.
EPL 2008: Lesser of two evils - one a club that uses the devil as their symbol, and another built on money taken from the Russian people. I hope Chelsea pip United to the title, since the Blues have managed to tie the Red Devils on points, despite a season of injuries and a sacking.

I support: Liverpool since 1985, a season when they won nothing. That crash course on dealing with disappointments has come in handy since 1990 even though Rafa Benitez had a budget comparable to Nasa's.
Because: 18 league titles, five European Cups and, arguably, Spain's best club. And I loved the unsung heroes, from Jan Molby to Didi Hamann to Javier Mascherano.
EPL 2008: United to wobble at Wigan and Chelsea nick a 1-0 win, not 18-0, to deny the Red Devils a 17th league title. And ditto Moscow, when Chelsea's Russian rouble overpowers United's weak greenback.
Victor Ng, Senior executive sub-editor
I support: Manchester United
Because: After losing to unfancied Southampton in the 1976 FA Cup final, they beat fancied Liverpool the following year. Then we found out the manager was having it on with the wife of the team's physiotherapist. Never a dull moment.
EPL 2008: United are stumbling towards the line, while Chelsea are finishing stronger. If, today, the season had three matches to go, the Blues would probably power home. But there is just Wigan left, and United should have enough gas in the tank for one more win.
