UNITED WIN TITLE IF ...
If Chelsea lose to Newcastle. Or if they beat Wigan in the last weekend of the EPL.
CHELSEA WIN TITLE IF ...
They win their remaining games and Manchester United draw or lose at Wigan.
FERGUSON: WE HAVE GREAT CHANCE TO WRAP UP TITLE
Manchester - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson acknowledged that his team have a 'big chance' of wrapping up the Premier League title after yesterday's 4-1 defeat of West Ham.Ferguson said: 'I'm very pleased because there was a bit of tiredness in the second half.
'The plan in the second half was to kill the game off and get the fourth goal - and we did that.'
Victory at Wigan next Sunday will confirm United as champions.
But the title may come even earlier. Chelsea now need to win at Newcastle tomorrow to extend the title chase, reported Sky Sports.
Ferguson added: 'It's been a great day for us. The players were fantastic.
'We were down to 10 men today and I said to try to run the clock down, keep possession and be patient in the second half.'
On Cristiano Ronaldo adding to his incredible goal tally, Ferguson said: 'How many players could score that many?
'He is improving all the time. He always wants the ball, which takes a lot of courage.
'And, don't forget, while he played up front today, he has spent 90 per cent of the season on the wing.
'Cristiano has had a fantastic season and he develops all the time.
'There was a terrible tackle on him today but he keeps getting up and playing with courage - and you've got to applaud that.'
The Scot had no complaints about Nani's foolish sending-off for butting Lucas Neill, vowing to 'deal with it'.
On tomorrow's clash at St James' Park, Ferguson said: 'The way Chelsea have been talking is that it'll be easy up there at Newcastle. But we know that's not the case.
'Look at (West Ham's) Dean Ashton today. He was a United fan as a kid but scored a goal which could kill our hopes.'
