January 2008: While negotiating a right turn, a trailer carrying two concrete walls overturned in Bendemeer Road. One of the walls hit a signboard pillar, but no one was hurt.
September 2007: Delivery driver Mohd Ghazali Masoothu, 37, died of multiple injuries after metal rods stored in the back of his truck came loose and crushed the driver's cabin after he slammed on his brakes.
He was hauling 200 rods, tied down with straps, when the accident happened along Lok Yang Way.
June 2007: A trailer crashed into a road divider along the slip road leading from Jalan Boon Lay to the Ayer Rajah Expressway in the direction of Changi.
Due to the impact, part of its cargo of concrete beams hurtled forward and crushed the driver's cabin.
The Malaysian driver, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt.
