THE Chiropractic Association (Singapore) has come out strongly against the clinic and its practitioners.
Its president Robert Wasserman said in a letter yesterday that they had 'refused' to join the association and abide by its code of practice standards and ethics.
One of the clinic's practices that the association took issue with was its sale of 'large treatment packages...not necessarily based upon...what is best for the patient'.
But because the Ministry of Health does not require chiropractors to be association members, the association cannot do anything about it, he added.
