2 Pursue sustainable development. For example, Singapore has announced the setting up of an inter-ministry committee to develop a comprehensive strategy to enable it to continue to grow economically in an environmentally sound way.

3 Living by the mantra of 'common but differentiated responsibilities'. This means developed countries should take the lead in reducing emissions while helping developing countries to do so too, be it through technology transfer or financial incentives.
