
Xbox 360 as TV set-top box
This game-playing machine can now be used as an alternative to the traditional set-top box, thanks to a deal signed by maker Microsoft and British Telecom.
Britain's largest telco launched its BT Vision pay-TV service at the end of 2006 via set-top boxes powered by Microsoft software.
It now plans to extend the same TV and video content to the Xbox 360 console in the middle of this year.
The question now is whether Singapore's SingTel will follow suit with its mioTV pay-TV service.
