Commuters now have direct access to the Bayfront area with the opening of two new stations, Bayfront and Marina Bay on the Circle Line.

Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew, who officiated the opening of the stations, said that the new stations would significantly enhance the commuting experience of those who live and work in the area.

'It will provide convenient rail access to tourists and families who visit the Marina Bay area, be it for shopping, dining, entertainment or sightseeing,' he said.

Attractions within the vicinity of the stations include the Helix Bridge, Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands.
